Performance Training

Eleanor is undertaking the Master of Arts in Musical Theatre: Acting and Performance at Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London after completing an intensive masterclass with the Australian Musical Theatre Academy.

Eleanor has trained in vocal performance for 10 years under Joanne Burton, a mezzo soprano with Pinchgut Opera.


University Shows

Eleanor is a graduate of the University of Sydney where she completed a minor in Theatre and Performance Studies and a major in Psychology as part of her Bachelor of Science degree.

Eleanor was a very committed member of many performance ensembles during her undergraduate studies.

For the Musical Theatre Ensemble (MUSE), Eleanor performed in 5 musicals, created sets for 2 productions, and served as a Social Secretary. Despite an early set back with her first musical (The Mystery of Edwin Drood, playing Drood) being cancelled due to the COVID19 pandemic, Eleanor performed lead roles in Falsettos (as Trina) and 1984! The Musical (as Julia) as well as roles in Sunday in the Park with George, Little Women, and Crybaby.

Eleanor was also active in the Sydney University Dramatic Society (SUDS), creating sets for 3 productions, and performing in Midsummer Madness, a new musical adaptation of Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream (as Nick Bottom). 

The University of Sydney has a long tradition of student faculty revues performed annually at the Seymour Centre. Eleanor has been a core member of the Science Revue Society since before even beginning tertiary studies. Performing in the 2019 revue during her ‘gap’ year, Eleanor went on to be elected a Singing Troupe Director (2021 Revue), Wellbeing Team member (2022 Revue), and Singing Troupe performer and Assistant Director (2023 Revue). In her final production, Eleanor was a Head Director for the 2024 Science Revue.

Eleanor also performed in Spring Awakening with University of Technology, Sydney’s theatre society Backstage


Gap Year

Eleanor spent 2019 working and travelling independently, including living for 9 weeks in Brooklyn, New York and Los Angeles.

During this time, Eleanor avidly explored the local creative scene, attending 16 musicals and theatre shows.

School

Eleanor attended SCEGGS Darlinghurst and was recognised in the 2018 NSW Higher School Certificate Distinguished Achievers List for the vocal performance elective Music 1.

Eleanor was awarded the SCEGGS Prize for First Place in HSC Music 1 and the Inga Scarlett Prize for First Place in HSC Drama. She served as a House Prefect and was awarded the Frank Hutchens Memorial Prize for Outstanding Performance and Leadership in Music and the Beryl Jacobs Memorial Prize for the Girl who has Won the Most Marks for Her House.

During high school, Eleanor performed in iconic roles such as Roxie in Chicago, Flaemchenn in Grand Hotel, and Olive Ostrovsky in The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee

In her final year she was the feature vocalist in the Australian premiere performance of Fecit Potentiam by Norwegian composer Kim Andre Arnesen at the Sydney Town Hall.
